Job Description

Want to work for a Healthy Living Pharmacy, which provides wide range of high quality healthcare and wellbeing services to improve the health of Croydon residentsYou will be supported by an experienced, highly trained and qualified team of professionals, which include 2 full time dispensers and 2 full time over the counter staffDispensing on average 7,000 items per month with room to grow. Oversees the operations of the pharmacy departmentMake sure that customers are prescribed the correct medicineEnsure the pharmacy complies with federal and state regulationsCommunicate effectively with customers relating to queries and issuesEnsure staff provide high standards of customer service to customersAssist in the on boarding process of new hiresTrain staff in prioritizing customer orders and delivering them efficientlyInstruct staff to interact professionally and courteously to customers at all timeKey Duties

  • Manage dispensary operations and clinical services effectively.
  • Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and effectively in a timely manner.
  • Counsel and advice customers on the effective and safe use of medicines.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework.
  • Conduct Medicines Use Review and New Medicines Service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, pharmacy team, health, and social care professionals.
Package and Benefits
  • £60,000 annual salary
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Work autonomously
  • Option to work just Monday to Friday
  • 47.5 hours per week
Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
  • Pharmacy Degree
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain.
  • The post holder will deliver all NHS services provided by the pharmacy and effectively provide patient care and safety. This includes ensuring that the pharmacy complies with all the relevant legal and ethical guidelines, being visible to patients ensuringthat they receive the excellent customer care and service.
