Job Description

Operations Scheduler - Construction sector£25,000 - £30,000 + BenefitsCroydon, South LondonAre you an experienced Operations Scheduler with experience working within the construction sectorAre you looking to join a well-established organisation that can offer fantastic career development opportunitiesA new opportunity has arisen within one of the UKs leading Waterproofing Contractors, who are specialists in providing Basement Waterproofing, Damp & Timber solutions to a large portfolio of clients in the public and private sector. Due to continued growth,our client is seeking an experienced Operations Scheduler to join their thriving team.Key Responsibilities of the Operations Scheduler include:

  • Assist with the day to day running of operations in the business
  • Overseeing the company work diary and assigning works to staff
  • Management of trades, sub-contractors and resources
  • Daily liaison with project managers/quality manager/suppliers/trades/sub-contractors
  • Assist with weekly forecasting
  • Ensuring new/additional orders are contacted and set up promptly, with accurate contact and information on file, ticket and DCS
  • Raising invoices and application in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that all projects are completed to client specification and to the highest possible standards
  • Managing efficiency and timeliness in all areas of Operations
What are we looking for
  • Experience working as a scheduler within the construction sector
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of IT & Microsoft packages
