We are at the forefront of the UK’s green economy and we use smart people and technology to deliver our vision, bringing people together to give the world’s resources new life.We are now looking to recruit a Major Maintenance Team Leader to join us, working 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday. This role will cover the South East region and therefore business use of a van is supplied.Major Maintenance Team Leader Responsibilities:Leading a team of four technicians, you will be responsible for the overhaul and repair of the prime movers used within the Powergen portfolio. You will also attend site where plant stoppages have been scheduled to undertake any repairs or overhauls and seek to bring the plant online with minimal downtime.You will liaise with Operations staff to identify, specify and schedule optimum cyclical maintenance from the works conducted, and liaise with internal personnel and contractors to ensure any downtime of Powergen utilisation equipment is kept to a minimum.You will be experienced in the identification and resolution of problems and provide training and competency assessments of technicians where necessary. In addition to this, you may also assist with the induction and control of contractors, approving safe systems of work and ensuring they carry out their tasks completely and safely.Our ideal Major Maintenance Team Leader will have:
