Job Description

Employer description:HCML was established in 2003 and is a leading service provider in the rehabilitation and case management arena. HCML specialises in providing case management & treatment services to the insurance industry, solicitors and the corporate & public sectors; assistinginjured and ill individuals to recover and return to work or to their pre-injury condition. As part of HCMLs offerings for employers, we provide a range of services that assess workplace capability and accelerate return to health and work for organisationsof any size. HCMLs approach is based on the bio-psychosocial model and enables a safe and sustainable return to employment or pre-injury condition.Overview:Through our innovative and clinically robust approaches, we can help achieve better functional outcomes and increased independence across all psychological, physical, social and vocational factors.We are low looking to hire an IT Apprentice.You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship.Main responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support to HCML staff, suppliers and customers based in our Croydon, Manchester and Bristol offices, client sites and from home.
  • Diagnose and report or resolve network, hardware and software issues within helpdesk SLAs
  • Maintain and update the HCML helpdesk system, ensuring timely resolution of tickets.
  • Support Teams Room Systems and meeting room AV systems
  • Maintain and support HCMLs IT infrastructure including on premise, hosted and cloud services
  • Support the use of mobile devices and HCMLs BYOD policy
Facilities and Equipment:
  • Liaise with external suppliers and the office manager to report facilities and building issues
  • Resolve basic internal facilities requests (e.g. access control, copier maintenance, lightbulbs etc)
  • Configure and update hardware for new and existing staff.
IT Administration:
  • Maintain and update the IT asset registers for hardware, software and devices
  • Support the joiners / movers / leavers process, creating, updating and disabling accounts as appropriate in Active Directory and Azure/Office 365
  • Manage customer portal accounts including account creation/removal, queries and password resets
HCML Citizen:
  • Undertake any other duties required, commensurate with the grade & level of authority of the post.
  • Proactively identify, share & implement ways HCML can continuously improve as a business & employer.
  • Demonstrate and champion behaviours and attitudes consistent with HCML values.
  • Abide by the HCML policies and procedures in force and remain up-to-date with any changes that may apply from time to time.

  • Windows 7, 10
  • Server 2012-2019
  • Office 2010-2019
  • PC hardware
  • Office 365 Administration

Entry requirements:The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.Find out more here: https://Qualifications/UKQRS/Default.aspxSalary:£15,000 per annum.Future prospects:Once you have successfuly completed the apprenticeship, their is potentially a full employment contract and further development.Important Information:QAs apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
