Data Engineer / Data Analyst - SQL, Data Factory (ETL/ELT), Data Bricks (ETL) and Azure (PaaS), Permanent, Insurance, London/Flexible, Remote, £40k +Benefits. - Various locations Global Insurance company seeks a Data Engineer / Data Analyst who can undertake both ETL data engineering work alongside Data Modelling techniques in connection with a high profile digital transformation project across the global enterprise. You will be responsible, within a team, for the ETL / ELT of data from multiple sources including SQL Server, etc utilising tools such as Data Bricks prior to management of the data and creation/enhancement of the core data model within the Data Vault DataWarehouse, hosted within MS Azure. With multiple sources and applications data feeds will need to meet with the Genal Insurance MI Data Strategy and ensure that outputs such as transmittal and data views are in line with expectations. To this end, you willliaise with various technical and business to teams to undertake appropriate data testing and ongoing project work in this area. We are searching for an Data Engineer / Data Analyst / ETL Engineer / BI Developer who possesses a solid understanding of SQL engineering, ETL / ELT engineering working with a variety of data sources. You will be comfortable using tools such as Data Factory(ETL/ELT), Data Bricks (ETL), Data Vault (DwH) and Azure (PaaS) and ideally have worked with them previously pr be comfortable adapting to new DwH & ETL technologies. You will be equally comfortable building dimensional data models within Data Warehouse Environmentsand have worked within a Management Information Systems department or focussed role. Experience with the data architecture and database design software E/R Studio would be an added bonus but non-essential,. Experience gained within Insurance would be highlybeneficial although non-essential. Strong communication skills pre-requisite.
