Job Description

Job Specification As Legal Cashier you will be responsible for: Daily client and office bank reconciliations Processing incoming and outgoing CHAPS, BACS using online banking system Processing monies received Posting of client invoices Petty cash and dealing with expenses reimbursement Purchase Ledger invoices and payment entries Dealing with nominal entries Running month end and VAT quarters Dealing with various office and client queries Day-to-day compliance of Solicitors Accounts Rules When applicable, dealing with processing cheques, BACS remittances, closing files and daily banking Various other ad-hoc dutiesPerson Specification To be successful in your application you will have: Previous Legal Cashiering experience Ideally previous exposure to legal aid Committed and able to work in a fast paced environmentThe Package We offer a competitive salary, reflective to your level of experience and ability.
