Job Description

Job description An independently owned vehicle rental service is now seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to assist in the full time running of our new branch opening. Reporting to the Unit Manager you must be customer focused, have a hands-on approach and be team orientatedwith an interest in helping to build on our customer base from scratch and its delivering a great reputation.This role has the oppertunity of turning into a Unit Manager should the canidate fit the correct criteria. Responsibilities are including but not limited to

  • Dealing with all enquiries, bookings, and deposits appropriately and in a timely manner, via phone, email and online.
  • Actively driving sales and searching for business during down periods through appropriate methods.
  • Checking In & Out vehicles, sundries, handling funds
  • Completing customer deliveries and vehicle transfers between branches over a myriad of vehicles.
  • Opening & closing the facility, maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency
  • Cleaning of vehicles to a high standard ready for rental.
Core requirements. Confidence and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of public over the phone and in person. Able to correctly prioritise customer service, ensuring high levels of communication and standards to meet our customer needs. Full UK driving licence required. Be flexible and have a can-do approach. Able to handle lone working. Ensure all activities are supporting and developing the business. Able to sufficiently manage computer software, email communication and payment methods. Able to be self-organised and have the ability to manage tasks in the right priority. Ideally come from a rental background but not essentialPlease apply if you are interested in helping to grow a buisness, have determination and commitment. Minimum RequirmentsStandard Category B Driving LicensePrevious experience of providing customer service either via telephone, online or in a customer-facing role and preferably supervisory experience.Whats in it for you
