Job Description

Berry Recruitment Darlington are sourcing a School Kitchen/Catering Assistant in the Durham area, for an immediate start.We are looking for Candidates with a good knowledge of food preparation and willingness to come on board with a busy team. Experience in a school kitchen is not essential however knowledge of a working kitchen is required.Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and serving food to Students and Staff
• Serving Students and Staff in a polite and friendly manner
• Using kitchen appliances as directed by Chef or Catering Manager
• Adhering to safe workplace practices
• Washing up and cleaning duties
• Safeguarding

This role is working 35 hours, however this Client can be flexible for the right Candidate.Monday to Friday required, hours are 7:30am-3:00pm, with 30 minute lunch break. This role will be paid at £10.78 per hour through Berry Recruitment and cover is needed long term.Enhanced DBS clearance is essential for this role as it is an immediate start.
