Job Title: Vehicle Inspector / Level 1 TechnicianAvailable Locations: Leeds, Measham, Blackbushe & BridgwaterStatus: Initially a 3-month temporary contract with a view to contract extension or permanent employment offer after a successful review period.Description: A fantastic opportunity is available for a qualified Level 1 or Level 2 Mechanic / Technician to join this prestigious motoring organisation as a Vehicle Inspector / Technician inspecting vehicles in a workshop environment.These are 70-point mechanical inspections for vehicles before they go to auction and the role is on-site at one of their clients.To be considered for the role you must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and be able to work on your own initiative. The company is especially interested speaking to candidates who can demonstrate the following key skills and experience:· Qualified to NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) plus recent garage, workshop or roadside experience· Eye for detail and able to follow strict processes· Good administration skillsMust hold Full UK B category driving licence with no more than 6pts for minor endorsements (no CD, CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements codes)Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday or 4 on 4 off.Hours: between 08:00 - 17:30 with extended hours and extra shifts as overtime during busy periods.Average: Full-time between 40-48 hours per week (average 43.75)Pay Rate: £11.80 per hour plus generous Productivity BonusProductivity Bonus: Currently Vehicle Inspectors are earning between £56 and £230 per week depending upon the shifts and hours worked. The average is £140 per weekNote: productivity bonuses are not guaranteed.On Target Earnings: £30,000 - £34,000 per year (including hourly pay rate and average productivity bonus).Additional Information: Interviews and technical questionnaire with the client will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams before an offer is made.Vetting: The company will require vetting including recent work references and background checks including a Basic DBS, Right to Work and Adverse Credit Check as part of their company procedures.Job Types: Full-time, Temp to permContract length: 3 monthsSalary: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
