Management Accountant

Job Description

My client is a Global Manufacturer and they are looking for a Management Accountant for their UK subsidiary. Reporting to the UK Finance Director this role will focus on maintaining and assessing the UK financial forecasts. You will also ensure accurateand complete management reporting on both a weekly and and monthly basis.Role Responsibilities

• Liaise with auditors and assist with their needs
• Prepare Designated Year End Audit packs
• Preparing statutory accounts and Financial Stock Reconciliations
• Reconciliation of assigned Monthly Balance Sheet Accounts and completion of monitoring schedules
• Manage Budget Margin Reviews
• Internally support the Financial Controller on project related aspects of statutory accounts
• To be responsible for Management Accounting data in the management accounts for UK business in collaboration with Financial Controller
• Train and work closely with the Management team to ensure profit maximisation and adherence to all departmental financial budgets and targets
• Collaborate, Inform and provide support to financial accounting team. whilst analysing financial information to assist business profitability and growth
• Prepare monthly Management Accounting and Support the UK Finance team by reporting and achieving key performance indicators
• Financial management of the sales force order database, margin reviews and updates in order to forecast and gather financial data for the business unit on a regular basis.
• System Data integrity Checking. Audit and check all SAP data used for Management Accounting purposes

Role Requirements

• Demonstrable core management accountancy skills
• You will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or working towards this
• SAP experience would be a preference
• High level excel skills
