MFL Teacher - FrenchSalary: From £140+ per dayLocation: Central NorwichJob Type: Full-time, Temporary (until end of the school year)We are seeking a passionate and qualified MFL Teacher to deliver French lessons to secondary students in a dynamic and supportive MFL department. This is a temporary position starting on 4th March 2024, offering the chance to join a collaborative team and makea significant impact on students’ linguistic and cultural development.Day to day of the role:Deliver French lessons to secondary students of varying abilities and levels.Plan, prepare and mark lessons, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.Collaborate with a team of six other MFL teachers and report to the head of MFL for guidance and feedback.Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources.Required Skills & Qualifications:A relevant qualification in MFL with a specialisation in French.Experience teaching French at the secondary level is preferred.A valid DBS check and the right to work in the UK.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to create an inclusive and motivating classroom atmosphere.Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational best practices.Benefits:Competitive daily rate based on experience and qualifications.Supportive and collaborative department.Opportunity to enhance the linguistic and cultural skills of students.Professional development and feedback from the head of MFL.To apply for this MFL Teacher - French position, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and passion for teaching French.
