Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Constructionand Food/Beverage are some of the sectors covered in the publications.Schofield Publishing is currently recruiting for an experienced Data Manager / Data Quality Manager to join our team.Data Manager / Data Quality Manager - About the Role:A brand new and exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a Data Manager, with a thorough knowledge in improving data processes and strategies to join this expanding international organisation.The Data Quality Manager will be responsible for managing the input, maintenance, quality and integrity of data held in our CRM systems and lead generation software.As the Data Manager you will be working with multiple stakeholders across the organisation to enhance technical data management decisions and data effectiveness.We are looking for an individual with the analytical skills and genuine interest in data to play a key role in data quality activities for the UK and US divisions of Schofield Publishing.Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring staff are utilising the CRM and lead generation softwares effectively and accurately. Responsible for managing Data Integrity changes caused by incorrect data input, ensuring that data is corrected and then followed up to address any root cause / future preventative actions etc. Responsible for managing the current data and IT co-ordinator. Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Employees / Employee Service Centre on data quality processes Ensure that data principles are followed and applied in line with general data protection regulations Ensure robust governance and control is adhered to in respect of all data received and sent, and guarantee the appropriate levels of validation / peer review at all times Identify opportunities for continuous improvements including process improvements and efficiencies Ensure all processes are fully documented and aligned to current policy You will work closely with colleagues in sales, editorial and finance to improve existing data quality and maintenance processes and where required identify technical solutions which increase efficiency and performance.Candidate specification:Essential Qualifications & Requirements: Educated to higher education level, or have equivalent work experience Have a good understanding of database concepts and experience of querying and manipulating data Have a good understanding of CRMs and lead generation softwares Experience in data validation or other auditing or quality assurance experience. You will have a good knowledge of data protection and document retention policies and be able to work in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines. Intermediate to advanced IT skills would be an advantage Highly numerate and able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication Good time management and organisational skills are essential Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel You will be able to demonstrate In-depth understanding of database management systems, with advanced knowledge of SQL queries; TSQL or PL/SQL Be highly analytical and able to communicate confidently and clearly Have experience of presenting analysis and findings to a technical and non-technical audience Ability to work independently on a broad variety of projects and as part of a global team.
