Job Description

Graduate Mechanical EngineerThe Opportunity:You will join one of Europe’s leading PCB manufacturer in the heart of beautiful Devon. The role is really for a Planning Engineer, and would suit a graduate in Mechanical Engineering seeking a career within a busy manufacturing facility.Your role as PlanningEngineerwill be to enter data onto computer systems. You willcommunicate between the customer, supplier and production teams in respect of the pre-production, quality and technicalmatters.The Role:

  • As ourGraduate Planning Engineer you will utilise various aspects of your Mechanical Engineering degree. You will use computer tools to produce printed circuit board manufacturing information from customer supplied information.
  • Liaise with internal departments as required and resolve problems either actual or perceived.Ensure that quality influencing activities such as process control, maintenance and training are performed to the relevant standards.
  • Maintenance of customer records and information.
  • The successful candidate will be able to research, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues in an accurate and timely manner.
What you will bring to the Team:
  • A Bachelors degree in science / engineering (ideally Mechanical Engineering or similar).
  • Excellent data and computer skills.
  • Logical thinking and a good application of the scientific method.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent data and statistical analysis skills.

Working Hours:8am-5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-2pm Fridays
