Job Description

We are excited to be working with an expanding company in Crediton who are looking to recruit an Administrator for their friendly, down to earth team!JOB TITLE: AdministratorLOCATION: CreditonSALARY: £22,000-24,000 PA DOEHOURS: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)BENEFITS: Competitive including generous annual leave and onsite parkingTHE COMPANY: A small but successful and well known company in the manufacturing industry. This company take a product from design all the way through to production supporting the client every step of the way. Based at the Crediton site,you will work as part of their small team where you will be integral to their success.THE ROLE: You will be the first point of contact for clients and customers, answering queries and providing excellent service. You will undertake a range of general office duties including raising sales orders, invoice processing and schedulingjobs.KEY DUTIES:

  • Order processing, entering jobs onto the system, sending of order confirmations to customers
  • Raising orders through in-house manufacturing system, checking receipt of order
  • Order amendments
  • Provide updates to other departments as required
  • Log all origination purchases and recharge information in order that costs can be reconciled to the accounts and customers are recharged as required and in a timely fashion
  • Completion of goods receipts
  • To generate customer sales invoices
  • Manage both incoming and outgoing post as required
  • Answering queries via phone and email
  • General office duties including filing and photocopying
THE CANDIDATE:
  • PC literate and complete understanding of Microsoft, knowledge
  • Organisational skills are key
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication
  • Able to prioritise and organise workload in order to meet tight deadlines and the ability to work under pressure
  • The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy and fast paced moving environment,
  • Possess the ability to work independently and also as part of a team
  • A can do attitude
  • Excellent customer service
