We have the perfect Mechanical Design job on the Norfolk / Suffolk border for someone whos looking for a focused Draughtsman position in bespoke manufacturing design.My client is a highly respected engineering organisation that supplies major and bespoke capital equipment to some of the countrys biggest manufacturers. Business has remained strong across the last year, and continues to grow - so much so that theyre expanding their Design Office with this brand new Design Engineering position.Youll be joining an experienced team of 5, who have made a name for themselves in their market by solving complex mechanical engineering problems inside short turnarounds and lead times. Its the ideal position for you if its still relatively early on in your Engineering career, as theres a wealth of skills and knowledge available for you to pick up and run with.What youll be doing:

Producing sets of working detail & assembly drawings in collaboration with the design team

Engaging with clients and suppliers to solve technical problems, conduct surveys and take briefs

Working with the wider business including Sales, Ops, Procurement and Production for project delivery

What youll need:

2D & 3D Mechanical Design package experience (Solidworks, AutoCAD LT)

Some mechanical design industry experience

An interest in complex, large scale and bespoke equipment mechanical design
