Job Description

Primary Teaching AssistantAre you passionate about working with childrenDo you have experience or relevant qualifications working with primary school children and available to start work for January/ February 2020Would you like to join a primary school that is supportive and offer great training opportunitiesA Primary School located in Redbridge, London are seeking a highly motivated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join their school on a long term contract immediately until the end of the Academic year. This is a full time position (Monday to Friday) with the view of going permanent for the right Teaching Assistant.** Primary Teaching Assistant ** Redbridge, London ** £70-£90 per day ** January/ February 2020 Start ** Long term contract until July 2020 minimum ** Great education and training opportunities ** Excellent facilities & resources ** Full Time - Long term contract ** Monday to Friday - 8:30 to 4pmAs a Teaching Assistant at this primary school you will be supporting the class teacher, keeping track of pupils progression, reporting back and communicating with the class teacher. You will be supporting children in both small groups and on a 1-2-1 basis as well as organising creative and educational activities.The Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant:

  • Passionate about working with children
  • Ideally have some knowledge or expiring working with children and young people with SEN
  • Have the enthusiasm to provide personalised learning experienced to children
  • Have a calm, patient and encouraging manner
  • Willing to commit to a 5 day a week role starting immediately
  • You must hold good English & Maths skills and ideally hold a relevant qualification including CACHE Level 3 or NVQ in supporting teaching and learning or higher education degree.
    • This primary school is easily accessible via public transport. Local buses run regularly outside of the school and close to the local train station. There is a car park for those who wish to drive to work.This primary school has been rated Good by OFSTED and offers excellent training and development opportunities as well as great facilities to help create a fun and inspirational learning environment.You must hold good English & Maths skills and ideally hold a relevant qualification including CACHE Level 3 or NVQ in supporting teaching and learning or higher education degree.
