Ensuring that individuals achieve their full potential by conducting one-to-one interviews and group sessions on all aspects of career work. You willsupport the day-to-day running of activities in the organization. This includes providing front-line service to help customers who require general advice, guidance, and support on a wide range of issuesKey responsibilities of our Career Advisor include:1. Provide career advice and guidance in a one-to-one setting or group workshops to support customers with their career aspirations.2. Help customers identify and consider the range of choices available to them and outline possible ways forward, using a range of tools and resources3. Undertake administration duties to ensure that all delivery evidence is complete and compliant in line with contract and quality standards4. Produce an action plan for employment, education, and training to help customers achieve their goals5. Discuss with customers how to overcome any barriers to reaching their goals and signpost them to other agencies for advice where appropriate.6. Business Develop to attract new customers and partnerships to the service, this could include community organisations, Job Centre Plus, training providers, and Higher EducationWhat were looking for in our Career Advisor:1. Min of Level 3 qualification in Careers/IAG2. Experience of working in Careers/IAG3. Good knowledge of careers related to IT applications4. Excellent IT skills in include Microsoft Office packages and Management Information Systems5. A high level of communication, empathy, and listening skills and the ability to analyse problems and propose solutions6. Demonstrable record of working flexibly and using own initiative7.
