We invest in our employees for the long term and we are committed to supporting your development within the company.Job DescriptionJob Title: Sample Registration and Receipt CoordinatorJob Type: Temporary Maternity CoverHours: 37.5 per week Monday - FridayJob Location: ConwySalary: £18,000As a Sample Registration and Receipt Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for receiving and registering samples on to the LIMS system in an accurate and timely manner. The role holder will be expected to ensure the customer experience is maximized through accurate and timely performance of duties relating to receiving customer samples and outsourcing for sub-contracted analysis.Key Accountabilities;

  • Accurately follow standard operating procedures for the registration, sub-contraction and transfer of samples between sites.
  • Store samples in appropriate locations/conditions
  • Record all customer activity in our LIMs/Q Pulse database in a timely manner.
  • Log any non-conformances or customer complaints using Q-pulse.
  • Effectively communicate any quality issues to the attention of the Quality Team.
  • Organise sample collections when requested.
  • To effectively communicate with internal and external customers during contract review and sample queries.
  • Provide clients with required consumables, including standing orders, and Adhoc requests.
  • Liaise with customers and logistics regarding collections, and booking collection requests.
  • Chase PO requirements and ensure PO are entered into the system when required.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner, with follow-up when appropriate, highlighting relevant issues to internal key stakeholders.
  • QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:-
  • Minimum of HND or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Experience of LIMS is advantageous
