Job Description

Main Job Purpose:To produce conveyor & transmission belts and materials to fulfil customer orders. That they are of the right material, quality and produced on time to the satisfaction of the customer.Principal Accountabilities/Main Tasks:Production

  1. To operate equipment to manufacture conveyor belts to length and width.
  2. To maintain records of stock levels.
  3. To inform manager of any stock required.
  4. To inspect and report any defects in production or equipment to the Production Foreman.
  5. To maintain and improve quality assurance by checking own work.
  6. To maximise productivity.
  7. To attend Production meetings as and when required.
  8. To attend customer premises for servicing, maintaining & fitting of belts at existing and new customers.
  9. To be available after hours and respond to customer call outs.
  10. To work in a professional manner at all times and have good working customer relations.
Company Wide Responsibilities
  1. To undertake training and development as and when required.
  2. To ensure activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental polices and general duty of care.
  3. To prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. To maintain a punctual consistent attendance, personal appearance and adhere to relevant health and safety laws and polices.
