Job Description

A recent restructure has resulted in our client urgently requiring some hands-on help from an experienced QBE or Qualified contractor who can assist a new Financial Controller settle in, during their initial months.There will be a permanent recruitment drive for this role eventually, but in the meantime having someone there to provide support is far more important. We are happy to consider candidates who are only interested in this as a contract or those who may wantto be considered as a potential permanent option. However, please do not apply unless you are able to start work almost immediately. We ideally need someone to start during the w/c 25th April.The business is a well-established European manufacturer based in Uxbridge. An overview of the role is below:

Review P&L and investigate significant variances to budget
Preparation of cash projections
Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Multicurrency Bank Reconciliation
Calculation of monthly accruals and prepayments and posting of journal
Preparation of monthly Sales figures for submission to group
Monthly update of Fixed Asset Schedule, calculating depreciation
Preparation of a quarterly reporting pack for submission to the parent company
Assist in annual budget preparation
OPEX forecasting
Intercompany reconciliations
Overseeing the Accounts Payable function, including entering cash payments and allocating against relevant invoices.
