SERVICE ENGINEER Coventry£30,000 Basic + Van + Company Credit Card + life Assurance Expected OTE - £40,000+ Our client is a market leading producer of bespoke process plant equipment. They currently have an exciting and rare opportunity for a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join their established and respected team. Reporting to the Service Manager, this is a highly technical and varied role. With continued high levels of research and development, the company is consistently at the forefront of new technology and its equipment is highly regarded within the industry. You will be responsible for service, repairs and breakdowns of equipment at customer sites both throughout the UK and Worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for a technically challenging role within a globally recognised organisation.Role & Responsibilities*Responding to international service calls on a daily basis*Test, service and repair a wide variety of Plant Machinery worldwide*Mechanical and Electrical Fault Finding*Offering advice and technical support to customers*Reporting directly to the Service Manager in the UK*50:50 between UK and Overseas *Some projects will require you to be away from home for up to a month*You will be based from home but need to be within a commutable distance of the head office in CoventryRequired Skills & Experience*Mechanical and Electrical Skills*Experience in Heavy or Chemical industries preferable *Familiarity with PLCs preferred*Time Served Experience*Willingness to travel worldwide*Good communication skills*Motivated to work on industry leading equipment In return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for technically motivated engineers.
