Job Description

About the roleThe Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will join an already established Digital Spine Platform team within CBS, providing a level of technical knowledge to undertake the troubleshooting and resolution to production incidents or problems that underpin our newly launchedmobile app. You will deal with these tickets independently and escalate to Senior Infrastructure Engineers if required.In this role you will be responsible for completing tasks to agreed levels of quality, within stated timescales with appropriate levels of supervision. You will seek improvement opportunities within the team and its processes/procedures. You will effectivelyprioritize tasks to ensure high priority activities are completed first.In the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role, you will be an effective team member who will provide support and guidance to peers and other team members, who contributes to team efficiency through the creation of accurate technical documentation. You will be responsiblefor independently troubleshooting and resolving all product and infrastructure service incidents. Undertake technical tasks such as maintaining scripts, automated code, reviewing logs, assisting build and configuration activity, and maintaining the technicalestate. As well as being responsible for supporting change and implementation where appropriate technical competence has been reached and maintaining an enterprise view.
