If this sounds like you, please read on to find out more about theopportunity.To provide an excellent customer service to Saint-Gobain Professional Services and Distribution colleagues through creating a safe and positive experience within their place of work (Saint-Gobain offices and home-based) and ensuring colleagues have a welcoming, safe and positive experience within their place of work.To provide uniformity across the sites and raise the standard at all by collating colleague feedback on a practical level. To provide daily management of the Workspace Services team and on site contractors.This is a 9-month maternity leave contract- we can offer flexible working patterns for the right candidateWhat youll be doing* Managing the Workspace Services team in order to ensure that colleagues and visitors have a positive experience in their work environment.* Ensuring that reception and switchboard cover is maintained* Reactive contractor management - reviewing risk assessments, signing in using entry permits, issuing hot works permits, ensuring safe behavior during their time on site and work is completed according to the quote.* Implementing and maintaining high standards of health and safety* Daily team management including holiday requests, team meetings and 1:1s* Ensures properties are maintained in accordance with legislation, environment, health and safety requirements* Managing site based contractors and supplier service delivery reviews for all external provisions such as catering, security and cleaning, ensuring commercial viability and excellent service is provided.What kind of person are we looking forFirst and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. In addition to the five Saint-Gobain attitudes we shared at the start, suitability for the role is always key; does the following criteria sound like you* Knowledge of HSE guidelines and legal compliance* Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety and its importance in the workplace,* Contractor Management - including entry permits/permits to work* A proactive and autonomous mind-set, able to work flexibly and take initiative to make decisions independently* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills - ability to work under pressure and to adapt according to daily needs* Experienced in conducting and reviewing risk assessments and method statements for remedial/planned works and completing risk assessments for multiple sites* Maintaining service delivery via a third party supplier to the end user* Strong commercial/financial acumen - experienced in managing a large budget, reviewing budget proposals and implementing service contractsWho are Saint-GobainSaint-Gobain was founded in 1665 to deliver a world first - the production of glass on an industrial scale.
