Job Description

Do you want to work for an organisation that has a real "family feel" Want to have autonomy over your area of work Want a varied role that utilises your office and warehouse organisation skills Want flexibility around the hours that you work Then wehave a position for you!Our client, a reputable household name within the FMCG industry are seeking a Warehouse Administrator on a 6 month contract, that will potentially go permanent due to relocation of the current incumbent after many years.Job profile:To provide support to the wider business including the Supply Chain, Technical & Commercial Team being the point of contact in the on site warehouse for all functions of this area, to include:

  • Manage the administration of the Warehouse Facility including:
    • Checking in & out of all sample stock
    • Ensure all samples are adequately packed & labelled for lab submission;
    • Ensure all samples are adequately packed & labelled for safe delivery to customers or contacts
    • The tracker documents are accurately maintained and linked with lab certifications on return
    • Ordering in & clearing out of all sample stock to manage levels & dates
    • Maintaining central samples information
    • Maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse area to protect stock
    • Maintain and manage samples database to ensure always representative of physical product on site
    • Maintaining safety requirements of the warehouse facility to ensure H&S regulations of this area are met at all times
    • Assist other departments in locating samples
    • Organise & manage courier collections & paperwork
    • Occasional need to assist with re-packing of warehouse stock
    • Management of skip & waste disposal
    • Support with loading & unloading palletised stock when deliveries are made using pump truck
    • Use of fork lift truck for unloading stock of trucks on arrival - ONLY if qualified to do so
    • Manage warehouse stocks of sundry supplies i.e. packaging materials
Key skills:
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills;
  • Must possess excellent administration and work load/time-management skills;
  • Ability to work on own initiative as part of a small cross-functional team;
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook);
  • Experience of general office & administration work;
  • Flexible and hard working mindset;
