Pertemps are looking for a Transport Control Administrator to join a well established manufacturing company based in CoventryThis is a permanent role with a salary upwards of £22K.The role will include varied tasks from booking kronos hours, inputting data to KPI spreadsheets and assisting with preparing, recording and documenting paperwork from shipping documents and vehicle maintenance.To set a high standard of conduct and to ensure that policies and standards are maintained at all times. These include but are not exhaustive of ISO9001, ISO14001 and associated EHS systems.Display a positive and proactive attitude to health and safety, ensuring you lead by example following BMDS S4/S5 and Safety Conversation systemsMaintain professionalism, give clear instructions and constructive feedback to the teammembers.Liaise with customers to understand their requirements for deliveries. Record any changes to delivery details and feedback to the transport and customer services team to ensure successful deliveries first time.Communicate driver feedback relating to deliveries to the sales team.Performing administrative duties such as reports and updating department KPIS.Assist with the running of daily PCS, creating new Document Controlled paperwork andupdating existing paperwork in line with PCS and Project actionsSchedule vehicle maintenance and ensuring compliance with the safety standards andtransport department SOPs.Assist with prepping new training paperwork and keeping the departments training matrix up to date.Cover - Planning daily transport schedules, and assigning driversRaising purchase ordersLogging of health and safety documentation.Update department monthly performance presentations to be displayed throughout thebusiness.Organising movement of materials across BMDS sites.All responsibilities above will be in addition to general administrative duties set out by theTransport leadership team.On occasions you may be requested to assist the business and carry out duties outside of your job role within your capabilities.Complete stock counts and weekly yard checks to ensure all finished material is planned for delivery.Organising meetings as requested by the Transport leadership team balancing calendars
