Job Description

Location: CoventryJob Type: Full Time, PermanentBenefits: Sales - Incentive Plan (SIP), 26-days annual holiday plus statutory public holidays. Contributory pension, Share ownership scheme and other additional benefits.Salary: Competitive Salary + Car Allowance + Bonus + BenefitsAbout the role:Responsible for the management and development of the existing client base and new business revenue streams within UK and Ireland. Key focus will be maximising revenue and margin potential in alignment to the companys goals. The customer base will consistof direct and indirect accounts but with a key focus to establish and penetrate new growth channels. Strong market presence for QED Environmental while achieving profitability and performance standards.The position reports to the Sales Director for EMEA / APACTravel, predominantly domestic but some international will be required.The Territory Manager is expected to act in the companys best interest at all times.Main Functions /Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of a strategic sales plan to ensure growth opportunities within allocated territories.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships to identify, qualify and close high quality sales opportunities.
  • Protection and improvement of EBITDA margin against growth targets.
  • Effectively utilise Salesforce to manage daily activity, create quotations and track success.
  • Quality driven sales focus to upsell with ROI and value aid
  • Solutions selling mind set.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels.
  • Fully utilise available resources to maximise opportunity success.
  • Monitor and analyse market and business trends to identify additional revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain full record of competitors for all markets sectors.
  • Evaluate market trends to determine new innovation, margins and supply/demand factors.
  • Account retention management.
  • Identify and resolve customer/partner issues.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports to the senior management.
Position Requirements:
  • Proven track record of successful sales delivery, with at least 5 years experience.
  • Strong background in new business development and account management.
  • Previous experience of the environmental technical sector would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Client focus with commercial acumen.
  • Experience in commercial and product change management.
  • Direct and Indirect sales relationship management experience; Distribution, Trade and direct End User.
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills including customer contracts.
  • Strong relationship builder.

  • Demonstrate understanding of business operations, marketing principles and management skills and techniques.
  • Strong evidence of leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to cooperate and influence a cross-functional team.
