Job Description

Stock Controller (Healthcare)Are you an experienced Stock Controller looking for a new opportunity in the healthcare industry Look no further! We have an exciting position available for a Stock Controller to join our dynamic team.JobPurpose:To provide customer focused support to the Textile Manager. Delivering exceptional levels of service and building relationships between our client and their customers.

  • To ensure that the company’s vision, values and policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Monitor linen cycle for all customers serviced by the site. Act as the interface for operations and customer service functions managing actions to improve product availability.
  • Co-operate and communicate with other departments and colleagues as appropriate.
  • Assist with data collection on stock requirements and recommend appropriate actions for both factory and customer.
  • On site stock customer stock checks.
  • Stock control - ensure the security, condition and acceptability of all stock.
  • Assist with customer audit programme
  • Ensure minimum stock levels for pool stock requirements.
  • Assist with the on-site factory processes linked to textile management, rewash, condemned etc
  • Feedback to management team on any customer issues.
  • Develop and create tools for quick review on good and poor performance on customer control
  • Aid the factory team in education on good linen practices and acceptable KPIs for linen control
  • Attempt to resolve any minor customer complaints in the first instance before referring up.
  • Lead on projects associated to textile control
  • Work closely with key stakeholders including Textile manager, CRMs and Site Management teams.
  • Constantly seek out opportunities to improve Customer Care and achieve Service Excellence.
  • Ensure all new accounts are set up in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Participate in and support continuous improvement projects/workstreams
  • Assist/Cover for Service and Textile Related staff
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to make decisions.
  • Flexible and able to react quickly to the needs of the customer and or client
  • Basic IT literacy (Good Excel knowledge)
Problem solving/analytical ability.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Articulate with a cordial tone.
  • Flexibility to work unsocial hours.
Education/Experience:Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.Experience of working within a highly customer- focused service environment.
