Software DeveloperI am looking to recruit a Software Developer for a company that is at the forefront of the Green energy revolution! This company is going from strength to strength and now is a really exciting time to join them - they have big plans for 2020!Hours of work Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:30 and Friday 08:30 - 16:30Salary up to £55kFree onsite parkingRemote working is available in this role however you will be required to travel into the office, based in Coventry, every 4 - 6 weeks for team meetings and reviews.As the Software Developer you will be responsible for managing specific projects that could change the way green energy works. There are several key stages throughout the software development where you will be responsible for the initial software idea/concept through to final development. For this position you will have at least 5 years experience in Software Development and any knowledge of working with home automation software is highly desirable. Key Software Development skills will ideal include:Knowledge of Zigbee / Z-Wave protocolsKnowledge of Docker and .NET Core 3.A good understanding of C, C++, C#.Knowledge of Azure IoT / Edge computingArchitectural knowledge and experienceWith knowledge working withRaspberry PI and Industruino / ArduinoMicrosoft AzureBuilding services (Web API)Build and deployment tools (Azure DevOPS)Unit testing (NUnit, Specflow)Source control systems (such as Git, Mercurial, Subversion, etc.)Using continuous integration (Azure DevOps, AWS CodeDeply, etc.)Databases (SQL Server, SQLite, etIn this role you will be able to work independently with minimal supervision with strong problem solving skills. You will be creative and innovative in your approach to work whilst being able to showcase your software development skills in a growing fast paced environment.
