Job Description

Today we employ over 6,000 people across North America, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, India and Asia Pacific.The opportunityBe a part of our programme management consultancy business that spans our five global hubs, where you can oversee work for world leading organisations across the public and private sectors.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive commercial support to the project manager in the management and administration of all contractual relationships entered into comprising the project works and services in relation to NEC projects.
  • Providing professional advice relating to commercial and contractual tender evaluation and ongoing contract management and administration throughout the duration of the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting in the tender evaluation/negotiation processes.
  • Managing the contractual correspondence.
  • Managing the receipt and issue of contractual administration requirements fully in accordance with the range of individual contracts on a project e.g. early warnings, project manager’s instructions, compensation events, variation orders and etc.
  • Monitoring and managing project spend to date and forecast spend business reporting requirements to meet governance and regulatory reporting.
  • Supporting the project risk management process.
  • Validating payment applications and preparation of contractual payment certification.
  • Reviewing and challenging of all spend to date transactional data to ensure compliance with the project scope.
  • Auditing of contractor records as required.
  • Preparing both commercial and technical formal contractual minutes.
  • Preparing and completing commercial records for archiving purposes.
  • Collating information and prepare a draft project closeout report in accordance with project closeout and reporting requirements procedures.
    • About you
  • With a relevant degree qualification in quantity surveying or other related subjects.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the utility sector.
  • Proficient in the use of IT.
