About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced change management professional with a breadth of experience including change delivery, risk management and assurance. The ideal candidate would have experience in 1st and 2nd line roles, supporting, advising and challengingmanagement to promote good change outcomes delivered within risk appetite.The Society operates a 3-lines-of-defence model, and you will play a key role in providing robust, pragmatic 2nd line oversight of change.You will have the experience and confidence to give opinions and challenge at change governance forums and present structured challenge, in formal reports, to management meetings and risk committees.The Society has recently embarked on a Product Operating Model transformation, adopting agile delivery methods. Experience of agile methods, as well as traditional programme frameworks, would be an advantage.You will be responsible for implementing key aspects of the Operational Risk and Control Framework for the Change Risk sub-category and will provide risk oversight and challenge to facilitate the clear identification, assessment, recording, tracking and managementof the Societys Change risks.About YouYou will have proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships through excellent stakeholder management skills. You will have a reputation for bringing insightful challenge. You know what good looks like and call-out and promote best practice whenyou see it. You are focussed on doing the right thing and are able to deliver difficult messages to management when necessary.You are an experienced change management practitioner with a proven record of delivery and assurance, and have relevant industry certifications, for example Prince 2 or PMI Project Management Professional. You have experience of agile methods, such as Scrum,Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)You possess experience of risk management practices in the 1st or 2nd line, including risk identification, assessment and management, and Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes. You will have experience in the development and implementation of action-orientatedmitigation and resolution plans.You will have a strong working knowledge of the financial services landscape and banking regulatory environment including working in the 3-lines-of-defence model.In your previous roles you will have developed your interpersonal, analytical, presentation, report writing and communication skills, and be comfortable working across all levels and departments within the Society.If you feel you have the right experience and skills and want to make a positive contribution to the continued success of the Coventry then please apply today!The closing date 13th July 2022
