FIND are a specialist recruiter, serving the Training & Skills market.Weve been appointed to recruit the new Sales Director for MTC Training, part of MTC - the Manufacturing & Technology Centre.MTCs mission is to create the next generation of Engineering & Manufacturing talent to help industry thrive.We provide solutions such as Apprenticeships, reskill programs & workforce development programs to help employers close talent & skills gaps in Engineering & Manufacturing.MTC is not for profit & is underpinned by social purpose.Overview: MTC Training has three revenue lines:1) Apprenticeships2) Future Skills (Commercial Training)3) MTC EventsThe growth ambition sits across Apprenticeships & Future Skills - we already help companies like Weetabix & Amazon hire & train upcoming engineering talent. We want to help more companies!Markets: We service SME, Mid-Tier & Blue-chip. Our main commercial activity sits with customers around 500+ employees, but we do provide our programs for smaller employers struggling to train & retain Engineering talent.The role:Were looking for a Sales Director to manage a team of 6 Business Development Managers.Youll be responsible for:

  • Shaping & redesigning our GTM strategy
  • Supporting, from a senior level, with prospecting activity & client acquisition
  • Sales coaching & performance management - driving a high-performance culture
  • Enhancing our Account Management capabilities - once we win, how do we expand the deal size
  • Representing sales & revenue targets at group SMT meetings, presenting regular updates on forecast & pipeline.
What experience will you have Were interested in talking to candidate from Training/Apprenticeships or Recruitment & Talent Solutions markets. The sell is very similar & wed welcome conversations from Sales Directors in other related industries.Engineering or Manufacturing market experience would be a significant advantage.You must be a player leader with demonstrable experience in managing a sales team.The detail:
  • Location - doesnt matter (UK). The head-office is in Coventry, but our customers & your BDMs are all over the UK.
  • Salary - c£85,0000 + £9,000 car allowance.
