Job Description

Appointing and nurturing sales talent across our business is key to our continued growth.The Sales Administrator Role Working within our National Accounts team, you will be based at our Coventry head office, reporting to the Sales & Commercial Manager, whereby the main purpose of your role will be to ensure effective and efficient administrative operations and to provide centralsupport and communication to our National locations and sales teams across the UK. This will without doubt be an extremely varied and often fast-paced support role.Sales Administrator DutiesThe Assistant handles a wide variety of administrative, commercial, and clerical responsibilities for the Commercial Manager and National Account Managers. The core duties include everyday tasks such as:

  • Supporting and coordinating activities for National Accounts. (For example, to assist with key projects, sales lead management, updating of CRM database.)
  • Supporting the National Accounts sales team to ensure Sales and GP targets are exceeded.
  • Preparation of customer meetings including reports and presentations.
  • Handling and processing quotations
  • Processing a limited number of central customer orders
  • Organizing and preparing samples for customer meetings
  • Supporting company activities (i.e., exhibitions, customer visits to our Innovation Lab)
  • Updating central customer contract price lists
  • Handling telephone conversations and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Responding to incoming internal inquiries from multi-site locations
  • Compiles and maintaining up-to-date contact data.
  • Managing office supplies
  • Archiving
  • Communicate with our National locations relevant national account customer information to ensure continuity of service levels and contractual agreements are maintained.
  • Work within the companys IS09001 and IS014001 policies
Do you have the correct profileWe welcome your application if you are accustomed to a similarly varied and fast-paced support role (ideally at least 1 years experience of this). We also require you to have strong MS Office competency (including Excel spreadsheets) accompanied by strongdata-analysis/interpretation skills. It would also be preferable if you have experienced using an inhouse CRM system previously. All of this needs to be underpinned by a strong work ethic and first rate administrative & communication skills. Whilst not essential,an ability to compile and understand detailed reports (covering things like pricing, trend analysis, KPIs) would be advantageous, as would previous experience of supporting a national accounts/sales function.The PackageWe offer an attractive basic starting salary (commensurate with experience) along with an attractive performance/profit linked bonus scheme and a flexible employee benefits scheme that includes: 25 days annual leave (rising to 27 days with service plus allbank holidays), contributory pension & employee discount scheme.
