A longstanding and established charity in Coventry are recruiting for a Housing and Integration Worker to start ASAP. The role involves working with newly recognized refugees to improve housing and integration outcomes and increase refugees self-sufficiencywithin Coventry.You will be working for a charity that provides accommodation and support services to help prevent and reduce homelessness across the West Midlands. Focusing on the identified needs of refugees, you will provide practical support, guidance and advice onall aspects of service users integration. This will include supporting service users to source and access appropriate accommodation, making and maintaining benefit claims, accessing repairs, and managing anti-social behavior.Our ideal candidate will have experience of working with refugees and/or vulnerable adults and will have a good understanding of the housing sector. You will have working knowledge of the welfare benefits system, tenancy agreements, and support sectors.It is also important that the successful candidate has experience of performance management and recording.
