Job Description

QA TesterContract Inside IR35 - £450pd The role

  • Develop & Automate end to end tests using the test framework (C# and Javascript) using SpecFlow & Jest
  • Working alongside Developers to create acceptance tests
  • Create test cases within Azure DevOps (VSTS TM)
  • Perform API testing using Postman
  • Use Application Insights to track errors
  • Create supporting documentation for new features
  • Cohesively work alongside existing QA Analysts
  • Enhance acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Produce test plan for feature under test
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary Scrum team
  • Ensure quality and coverage of testing in all applications within the project
  • Provide training for the team on testing and best practices
Requirements
  • You will have experience of the below:
    • API testing experience
    • Manual & Automation testing knowledge
    • Good knowledge of C#, .Net, Gherkin
    • Good knowledge of GitHub
    • Knowledge of the SDLC
    • Good knowledge of Agile methodology
    • Confidence in writing acceptance criteria
    • An understanding of the development lifecycle, software release process and defect management
    • Exceptional analysis, reporting and problem-solving skills
    • Experience of estimating work
    • Familiarity with Azure DevOps
    • UI testing
  • Youll also need to know the following (but we can train on these if required):
    • TypeScript, Selenium, Jest & Postman
    • Load & scalability testing for web apps and API service
