Job Description

QA Service Engineer - Medical Devices£28,000 - £35,000Home based but must be commutable to Coventry/ Leamington SpaOur client, a world-leading machinery specialist for the veterinary industry, is looking for a QA service engineer who will maintain, repair and test microprocessor based electronic instrumentation and preform a variety of tasks including assembly, packaging,and inspection of products.Benefits:

  • Enhanced maternity/ paternity pay, allowing up to 6 months leave at 90% pay regardless of gender
Responsibilities:
  • Repairing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying microprocessor based electronic instruments and components that are used in the veterinary industry
  • Completing assignments such as problem-identifying, troubleshooting and problem solving of equipment, using computerised web-based systems, and recording necessary data digitally
  • Completing manufacturing tasks such as assembling, cleaning, packaging, and inspecting the repaired or refurbished products before they are ready for shipment
About you:
  • Degree qualified or relevant industry experience
  • Good trouble shooting skills with a good aptitude for electronics and mechanical repairs
  • Experience completing maintenance, repairs and testing of electrical/ electronic instrumentation with some mechanical experience
  • Strongly detail oriented with a strong ability to work independently and manage your own diary
  • Prior experience with lab equipment, solutions and reagents preferred but not essential
  • Prior experience working with and repairing medical devices preferred but not essential
