Job Description

Property Services ManagerWe have an exciting opportunity for a Property Services Manager to be part of the Management Team supporting the CEO in the development and implementation of the property and estate management element of the organisations 5-year plan.Position: Property Services ManagerLocation: CoventryContract: PermanentHours: 37 hours per weekSalary: Starting salary £30,014 per annum, pro rataBenefits: Competitive rates of pay – with annual increments, Employer Pension Contributions, 25 days’ annual leave, with annual increments up to 30 days + B/hols and Busy Bees Employee Benefits.Closing Date: 30/09/2020Interview Date: 7/10/2020The charity provides Supported Living and Community Opportunities and work experience across services in Coventry and Oxfordshire. The organisation is dedicated to supporting adults with a learning disability to lead independent lives with opportunity and choice where their rights are respected.About the RoleAs part of the group and working for Newpath Housing, this new role of Property Services Manager has been set up to support the CEO and senior managers in delivering all aspects of property management and maintenance in the small but diverse portfolio of property and interests of the group. This includes domestic properties which are let to Citizens of LPT, The Walsgrave Road site and offices; and the Plant Nursery and Function Rooms at Kings Hill Lane Coventry.In addition, the Property Services Manager will:

  • Advise the CEO and the Health and Safety Committee on property related matters
  • Deliver the landlord Services for Newpath Housing
  • Support the CEO and other members of the team in liaison with housing providers
  • Lead on Health and safety and facilities management in relation to property portfolio
    • About YouAs Property Services Manager, you will have a qualification in building or surveying to at least HNC level or equivalent and have experience of:
  • Working in property services and maintenance or facilities management in an organisation
  • Managing external contractors
  • Developing and implementing strategies, plans, policies, and procedures
