Combining the expertise of both companies will also make E.ON a pioneer in developing new and innovative energy solutions and attract the brightest minds in the energy sector.Job description:We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead, manage and direct a multi-skilled project team. You’ll predominantly site to deliver several concurrent Retrofit Energy Efficiency Projects for Local Authorities. Ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and on budget aiming to exceed client expectations at all times. As well responsibility for achieving the MTP (Medium Term Plan) to the EEISL targets.Key responsibilities include:

  • Engage with external and internal Stakeholders and manage their expectation effectively. Act as an escalation point for operational issues and responsible for resolution of customer/client issues.
  • Create and monitor Project Programmes ensuring that internal resource and external supply chain is utilised as efficiently as possible, ensuring that risks are identified and mitigated against.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in line with the requirements of CDM2015 and associated legislation, ensuring that all necessary documentation is created and competency requirements are adhered to.
  • Work collaboratively with the EISL Compliance Team to ensure all site operations are completed within E.ON safety, regulatory, budgetary, policy and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and monitor the day to day focus, activities, capability and performance of the team, ensuring appropriate productivity measurement and performance standards, robust controls and checks, standard operating procedures, team resource planning and forecasting are embedded.
  • Lead, motivate and manage the team to meet operational requirements and manage performance to improve customer/commercial focus and innovative solutions.
  • Profile description: What we need from you
  • Construction degree or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in a contracts manager position, on variety of residential projects, taking projects from tender stage through to completion. This experience is preferably complemented by a higher construction based qualification.
  • Experience in installation of retrofit installation measures (including insulation, heating and renewable technologies)
  • Experience of delivering projects within occupied properties.
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary project team so that they achieve their full potential and produce a successful residential project.
  • Demonstrable experience in constructing, tracking and maintaining project programmes, using a recognised package such as Microsoft Project, ensuring at all times that risks to the critical path are identified, understood and mitigated against.
  • Substantial knowledge and practical use of, current legislation with regards to the Health & Safety, Construction, Services Installation and various Forms of Contract that could be applicable to the variety of Residential Projects.
  • Excellent inter-personal, communication and influencing skills.
  • CSCS card, SMSTS qualification as well as a IOSH or similar SHE qualification
