Job Description

Job Title: Project Communications SpecialistLocation: WhitleyRate: £30.50 ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £23.21 ph PAYEEmployment Type: Contract (31.3.24)Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per WeekReference: J39018Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating a global communication plan and refining with each market in co-ordination with the Local HR Managers.
  • Creating and scheduling content across digital and printed platforms including Yammer, Teams, SharePoint and videos, demonstrating key changes to systems and process across a variety of key stakeholder communities in-line with communications plan.
  • Supporting key stakeholder engagement events.
  • Build strong relationships with Internal Communication Team and across the wider business.
  • Be confident working alongside senior leaders on face-to-face activities, events and when filming videos.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives, using metrics and feedback to continuously improve strategies and engagement levels.
  • Part of the Change and Process Squad.
  • Minimum on-site requirement, circa 1 day per week unless key engagement events are taking place. Any travel will be midlands based only.
Required Skills:
  • The ability to create digital communication or training content is essential.
  • Experience of Camtasia is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of Internal Communications subject areas including planning, delivery, events, activations and digital engagement.
  • Experience of working in-house or agency-side on employee communications.
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally with strong relationship building skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work easily with others.
  • Confidence managing upwards and engaging at a senior level (HoD, Directors).
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft messages in an engaging and accurate way.
  • The desire and ability to work and deliver at pace in a fast-moving, exciting environment.
  • A track record of getting projects delivered on time, and on budget.
