Process EngineerCoventry, West MidlandsA chance to join a leader in the innovation and industrialization of energy storage technology.Company client is seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer to contribute to the new product development and industrialization of products in Coventry.Benefits:* Long term contract (12-18 months)* Attractive pay rates* A cutting edge workplace with a friendly and dedicated team.* Exciting projects working on brand new/emerging technology.Position Overview:As a Process Engineer your responsibilities will include supporting production activities of pilot and R&D manufacturing lines, improving manufacturing equipment and methods, and driving innovation in techniques to reduce costs, enhance sustainability, andestablish best practices. This will be a hands-on role where you will also be involved with suppliers ensuring correct specifications to new machinery. Due to the nature of the role, this position will be based fully on-site in Coventry. The applicant mustbe able to commute to site.Key Responsibilities:In this exciting new role youll be researching and crafting new methods and equipment. Youll be the go-to person for bringing new equipment online or tweaking current equipment to better suit innovative manufacturing techniques. Your analytical skills willshine as you dissect production data to boost efficiency and solve problems. When something requires troubleshooting your expertise with PLCs, HMIs, and tool management software will help get processes back on track. Youll work closely with vendors to brainstormand execute equipment upgrades. And of course, youll keep all the essential documentation, specs, and plans up-to-date.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:You will have excellent understanding of manufacturing and process engineering fundamentals having worked as a Process Engineer previously (ideally for 5 years or more). A background in a volume manufacturing environment is key, preferably within a similarindustry. Exposure to data acquisition equipment and software is essential and exposore to PLC controls or similar automated systems is preferred.
