Job Description

Pre-Press Operator STOP : WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A GRAPHIC DESIGNER!Location: Binley, CoventryHours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annumAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Pre-Print Operator at a small but very busy print and signage company, specialising in creating eye-catching signage for shops and bespoke exhibition stands. This is not a graphic design role but requires a strongpractical knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently opening and checking customer files.
  • Ensuring files are print-ready and sending them off for printing.
  • Regular communication through email to coordinate with clients and team members.
  • Operating advanced printing machinery with precision.
  • Occasionally making local deliveries in the company van.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proficient in using Adobe Illustrator; this is crucial, but please note, this is not a graphic design position.
  • Experience in a pre-print or similar role within the printing industry.
  • Good eye for detail, ensuring all prints meet quality standards.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence for occasional delivery tasks.
