Plant EngineerCoventry,West MidlandsAre you a Plant Engineer and looking for your next opportunityCompany client isrecruiting for a Plant Engineer for the client, a cutting-edge facility at the forefront of battery manufacturing based in Coventry and they are looking for a Plant Engineer to join them on an 18 month Inside of IR35 contract / fixed termpermanent basis Responsibilities:* Project management and equipment vendor liaison.* Minimise downtime and ensure plant reliability.* Maintain reports and inspection records for all associated plant equipment.* Collaborate with various departments to maintain mechanical integrity of all plant programs.* Supervise and develop less experienced engineers and technicians.Experience Required:* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.* Working knowledge of PLM systems (PTC Windchill preferred, training provided).* Practical experience in factory and site commissioning.* Familiarity with DI water, solvent process plant, compressed air, coolant systems, dehumidifiers, and other general plant services.* Exposure to equipment used in lithium-ion battery products (beneficial but not mandatory).* Knowledge of MES, software control systems, and facilities management (beneficial).Skills Required:* Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects and technical information.* Strong analytical and practical problem-solving abilities.* Effective communication and technical report writing skills (in English).* Desired experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, CREO, or similar CAD software.This is a site based opportunity and the rate for this will reflect the scope and significance of the client in their sector.Required skills
