Job Description

Having doubled turnover in the past two years, they have some exciting expansion plansfor 2024 which are already well underway.Take on a pivotal role in their Coventry office, overseeing the payroll ledger and contributing to the efficient functioning of their small accounts team. With a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £28,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including22 days of holidays, Auto-enrolment Pension, and Westfield Health Insurance, this opportunity promises professional growth and job satisfaction.**Please note this will be an office based role**Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record and produce weekly, monthly, and salaried payroll.
  • Timely reporting of pensions and meticulous record-keeping of deductions, including CSA.
  • Submission and accurate record-keeping of P32/FPS/EPS.
  • Generation and posting of Payroll Journals for month-end reporting.
  • Precise calculation and submission of P11D/Annual leave accruals.
  • Regular update of headcount.
  • Monitoring the Payroll Email box, and handling queries effectively.
  • Assistance with end-of-year accounts preparation.
In addition, youll get the opportunity to:
  • Reconciliation of 10 bank accounts, encompassing 4 currencies.
  • Support in debtors and creditors activities as needed.
  • Assist in intercompany reconciliation.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties at the request of the Group Financial Controller.
This is a great opportunity to join a company with a strong foundation, where you will lead the payroll processes for approximately 140-150 employees with diverse pay structures. Utilising Sage systems to manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliancewith legal obligations and company policies. Collaborate with HR on onboarding and manage changes in employee status. This dynamic role requires flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in managing complex payroll processes.
  • Familiarity with Sage payroll systems.
  • Adaptability to changing payroll ledger sizes.
  • Experience in onboarding new payroll systems/acquisitions is desirable.
  • Eagerness to acquire new skills.
