We are working with a diverse, global leader based in Coventry. They are looking for an experienced Network engineer to provide IT Support to all functional areas and at customer locations. The role will require you to be competent with an array of 1st and2nd Line support capabilities, as well prior experience working with communication performance of LAN/WAN. * £43,000 base + benefits. * Hybrid working 3 days in an office and 2 from home. Some of the Key skills you will have are: - Work experience in IT System Support Environment - MCITP /MCTS SQL 2016 (or above) and MCSE/MCP Windows 2016 (or above) certifications preferred - Hardware - HP Servers, Cisco wired and wireless infrastructures and Dell/Lenovo Workstations & Laptops. Software: - Windows Server 2016 / 2019 - Windows 10 Workstations & MS Office 365 - Microsoft SQL 2016 / 2019 - Avamar cloud backup software - Comms - Cisco networking experience including Switches and Wireless Access points, TCP/IP protocol, VPN (Pulse/DUO), DHCP, DNS & Routing - Cabling - structured cabling system, category 5 Ethernet & fibre - Good communicator capable of operating well under pressure. - Adaptable and have the ability to embrace change. - Strong technical problem resolving skills - Analytical approach and attention to detail - Procedure and compliance driven - Strong team player
