Mechanical EngineerCoventry/Birmingham/Milton Keynes/NorthamptonPermanent £18.00 p/hour + call out and Overtime 40 hoursJanuary 2024 startZeal Recruitment has been selected to help a well-established, national M&E company recruit for an experienced Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis to join their team. This role will cover the Coventry, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, and Northampton workingin large residential buildings.Your duties as a Mechanical Engineer will include:• Maintenance and repairs of commercial plant, pumps and compressors• Pipe installation and general pipe work• Day to day safety and maintenance checks • Valve changes• Working with heating and ventilation systems• Commercial boiler repairs and maintenance• Regular servicing of above systems The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have:• Commercial core gas (COCN1) & Domestic to Commercial changeover (CODNCO1)• Experience within Commercial & residential settings• Experience with reactive and planned repairs • Proven Mechanical Engineer experience with references • High standard and flexible approach to working The successful Mechanical Engineer will be working for a large successful business from their Birmingham office, no day is the same, everyone likes to help each other, have a laugh all whilst getting the task at hand completed. You will also receive a companyvan and fuel card, work wear, PPE, Phone, Tablet, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays which increases with length of service and Pension contribution.
