Job Description

Material Planning Analyst - 38802 - £22.45/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Material Planning Analyst to join our clients inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time Analyst role is based in Coventry and involves hybrid working.As a Material Planning Analyst, you will manage a portfolio of programmes, ensuring on-time schedule release from validation through to completion. You will also drive procurement issue resolution in a timely manner to maintain building integrity. The mainsite will be Ryton DC7 - hybrid working, so two days in the office and three days working from home, with the frequency in the office increasing depending on business needs.In your first few weeks in this Material Planning Analyst role, you can expect to:

  • Manage a portfolio of programmes ensuring on time schedule release from validation through to completion.
  • Drive procurement issue resolution in a timely manner to maintain build integrity.
  • Work with upstream supply chain teams to plan upcoming builds effectively.
  • Maximise utilisation of available stock to sustain programme budgets. Support projects across multi-functional teams.
Your essential Material Planning Analyst skills, Knowledge and Experience must include:
  • Advanced data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with KPIs and targets
  • Excellent presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience working within a manufacturing/automotive environment (preferred)
  • Logistics-related degree
  • Six Sigma qualified (desirable)
