Maintenance TechnicianReference: Jo5412/NPHLocation: CoventrySalary: £42,000 + Pension + Overtime + Extensive Benefits Perm Late Shift - Mon to Fri 1.45-10pmThe CompanyBased within a leading specialist manufacturing group, producing high technology products into a wide variety of industries is looking to expand its experienced engineering team.The company due to product success and a reputation for excellence have invested heavily in their manufacturing operation and provide a highly challenging but rewarding environment for their engineers.Key Skills

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience of PLC systems & Automated Machinery
  • Understanding of PPM Systems
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards whilst maximising machine efficiencies. Reporting to the engineering manager you willbe working on several fast moving lines, driven by PLC automated control systems. The ideal candidate will therefore come from a manufacturing background with a formal electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and the ability to modify and interrogate PLC’s.On a day to day basis, you will be working on the PPM system, completing project based work and responding to maintenance breakdowns to maximise machinery uptime.
