Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Lead EngineerFood ManufacturingMonFri (Days Only)Circa £45K+Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with excellent problem-solving skillsDo you have well-developed listening and communication skills with a proactive approach and strong prioritisation skillsAre you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentThis could be the role you have been looking forWe are actively recruiting for anElectrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join this hugely successful multi-site manufacturing business and lead the small Engineering function at their location near Coventry.The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in the ongoing development and maintenance of the site. Youll be responsible for coordinating all routine shift based preventive and reactive asset maintenance to ensure safe operation and equipmentreliability to meet production demands. You will ensure work is completed safely according to company and legislative standards, to the required quality and workmanship in the time allotted.The Role:

  • Responsible for conducting both preventative and reactive asset maintenance as well as some project work.
  • Focusing on the safety and reliability of the equipment to ensure they meet production demands.
  • Restore equipment during unplanned breakdowns
  • Provide technical feedback on the assets to production and engineering stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the management team to develop risk assessments, adhere to safe systems of work processes and deliver objective and performance targets.
This is a MonFri (Days ONLY) role: Circa 07001600hrsAbout You: Fully qualified Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician, accredited to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Experience of PPM Implementation, delivery and control within a maintenance background A working knowledge of continuous improvement / operational excellence delivering using 5S, Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Problem Solving Effective fault diagnostic and have excellent problem-solving skills A focus on Health and Safety in the workplace Sound knowledge of Microsoft tools, in particular Excel Experience of using SAP would be beneficial (but not essential)This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multi-site FMCG company with a world class reputation.The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of circa £45,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus access to the company-wide bonus scheme and a range of excellent additional benefits.This role may be suitable for you if you have experience as a Lead Electrical Engineer, Lead Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, Engineering TeamLeader, Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Shift Manager, Site Engineer
