Lead Engineer (Design / Automotive)£50,000 - £60,000 + Progression + Company Benefits + Training + Hybrid RemoteCoventry, West MidlandsAre you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a manufacturing background looking for a technically challenging, Monday to Friday role offering clear routes to progress and the opportunity to work on a variety of high value projects for one of the most excitingOEMs within the automotive industryThis is a senior role within a leading OEM where you will be designing components from conception to completion on every part of the products this company are well known for. You will also be supervising a small team beneath you of approximately 3 people,ensuring their output and managing their progression plans whilst managing the projects worked on.Known for its distinctive design, engineering prowess, and a commitment to producing high-quality, iconic automotive vehicles / motorcycles, this company has earned an esteemed reputation nationally. Their vehicles are celebrated for their performance, style,and heritage, making them a symbol of British craftsmanship and manufacturing excellence.This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with a manufacturing background looking for a healthy and collaborative work environment, working on technically exciting projects where their skillset will flourish and be encouraged to progress.The Role:

  • Using Creo design software following a two week training course
  • Managing a small team while supporting the development of graduates and team members and overseeing projects
  • Designing components from conception to completion on every part of the vehicle
  • Monday to Friday, flexible working hours, 40 hours a week, potential for 1-2 days WFH a week
