Job Title: Lead DevOps EngineerSalary: Competitive + BonusTeam: Technical Operations Office: CoventryWorkingPattern: Full TimeShell Energy has partnered exclusively with Robert Walters to find an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer in Coventry.About Shell EnergyAt Shell Energy, we provide more and cleaner energy solutions across a global portfolio of gas, power and environmental products to meet current and future energy needs of our customers: energy producers, asset owners, traders, wholesalers and large commercial and industrial energy users.As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be required to:

  • Experienced with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Swarm / ECS, EKS)
  • Knowledge of Terraform
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS
  • Scripting (bash, python)
  • Red Hat/CentOS, Ubuntu - Linux OS
  • Networking: IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, TLS
  • Network services: Load balancing, routing, DMZs, firewalls
  • Security concepts, tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of REST services
  • Understanding of JBoss/Tomcat/Apache
  • Knowledge of Puppet/Rundeck

The team includes Cyber Security Analysts, Cloud Security and DevOps.
