Role: IT Support Engineer Type: TemporaryDuration: Two Months InitiallyStart date: ASAP; Full-time 8.30-17.00Pay rate: £14-18/hr dependent on experiencevia UmbrellaLocation: CoventryAn exciting opportunity to support a team throughout a period of increased workload. The successful applicant will support the technical requirements within an education environment, liaising closely with different members of the organisation to facilitatea smoother delivery of education.Key duties: - Employ Active Directory and Group Policy to manage/configure user accounts- Triage and resolve complex IT situations and issues, escalating when necessary- Relay technical and functionality guidance to IT Users- Resolve IT User issues over telephone, email, or via remote access- Working knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems- TCP/IP experience- Floorwalking/Deskside support across site; PCs, Laptops, Handheld Devices, Education IT Hardware- Communicate with staff and members of all levels, relaying IT advice to non-technical personsRequired skills:- Windows 10 OS, Apple OS- MS MDT/WDS for PC imaging- MS Active directory & MS Office 365 administration- Papercut print management- ManageEngine Service desk+- Specialist software application support : Adobe CC suite , Autodesk , UE4 etc- Knowledge of appropriate GDPR and safeguarding practices and willingness to implement and follow these- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OS and MS Office applications- Resolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex server queries- To work as part of a close-knit and highly skilled team of Engineers- An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position as the successful applicant will be working within Regulated Activity within a specific place.Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
